Front Sights

M16A1 - Tapered cylindrical post, five-position,spring loaded detent, rotating.

M16A2 & M4 - Square post, four-position, spring loaded detent, rotating. The front sight on each weapon is adjusted the same way by pushing down on the spring loaded detent and rotating the sight post in the desired direction.
